Passive Audio PCB Rev A2

RotaryCell has reached the point where the breadboard and hand-wired audio interface can begin giving way to purpose-built hardware.

The Rev A2 passive audio interface PCB is being laid out as an EasyEDA schematic first. The board will handle the audio connection between the cellular hardware and the telephone interface while keeping the design deliberately simple. I am going for tiny and simple, to leave free room! This is the first time I am making a PCB from scratch, so absolutely a learning experience.

Next up will be a carrier for the Silvertel AG1171 SLIC. Together, the two boards should make the internal installation considerably cleaner and more repeatable than the current prototype with its perfboard and “creative soldering”.
